Who We Are
Belinda L. Spears, Ed.D., is an educator who has been teaching for over 23 years in the Prince George's County Public School system in Maryland. Her educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Houston-Downtown in 1999, a Master's Degree in Special Education from Bowie State University in 2007, and a Doctorate in Education from Northcentral University in 2017. Dr. Spears has taught at all levels of education, including elementary school, middle school, high school, and adult education.
Purpose
B.L. Academic Services, LLC was established with a mission to strengthen academic skills through individualized tutoring, with a focus on elementary students. Dr. Spears believes that building a solid academic foundation early in a child's educational journey is key to long-term success.
Through targeted academic reinforcement, students gain the support they need to master essential skills, giving them the tools and confidence to reach their full potential.
